Banana burfi

Banana burfi sounds very interestin . Earlier i posted the recipe banana smoothie,now i am presenting banana burfi which is quick and delightful sweet,once you try definetely get addicted to it.

  • 4 banana's
  • 1tsp bhuna chana powder
  • 1 1/2tsp cornflour
  • 1cup sugar
  • 1/2cup ghee

  1. heat ghee in a pan add mashed banana's to it,fry it for a minute.
  2. add bhuna chana powder,cornflour mix it and let it cook for 5min.
  3. now add sugar when sugar melts and burfi forms thick paste remove it and pour on a greased plate when it cools lightly cut into pieces and have it.

banana smoothie

Banana is a regular fruit which is available at home. Mostly i ate it a lot than others.Now the other persone came to my competition was my son,even thoug he is 16months old,he takes banana from the table and ate it himself. I was sursprised when we are watching T.V seriously,he went on to dining table and picked one banana started eating itself,then we saw. When i attempted to peel off the the layer,he rejected and started crying,felt that i am going to stop him from eating. when i peeled and gave banana ate it cleanly and started searching for another banana. He loves banana a lot.

Now he is in my athama's house and spending time with his grand mother.I miss him so much,whenever i see banana he will come into my mind. such cute little things he will do are unforgettable.

Coming to banana smoothie,even though banana tastes great as it is. I wanted to transform it to another form.Then banana smoothie came into my mind.It is simple and tasty too.


  • 2 ripe banana's
  • 1tsp sugar
  • 1cup curd
  • 1tsp honey (optional)
  • 6 ice cubes

  1. put all the ingrediants except honey in a blender and blend it well to smooth  paste.
  2. top it with honey or icecubes.drink the delicious smoothie.

My 100th post-Cashew milk puri

Hi friends,

I am really excited and feel proud to announce that this is my 100th post. It is special for me,so that i wanted to make something special for 100th one. and on this auspicious day of KARTHIKA POURNAMI i wanted to make sweet recipe. Then i got the idea of making cashew milk puri. This i learnt from my mom. When i was child she used to make this for our family. I am so fond of this sweet.Bcoz i love puri,when the sweetness is added to it ,it tastes heaven. This is unique and sumptous recipe.

As i am writing the 100th post,i want to tell all my family members,blogger friends that i am really thankful to all those who supported me in my journey. Without them i am nothing here. I should thank to all those who appreciate my recipe and comment on my blog, visitors,followers,readers......every one. 

Most importantly i am dedicating this blog to my MOM,and for all those MOM's who is our first teacher in life. She has done so much to us. We will learn our first recipes from her only. She is wonderful cook,who can ever have.

Here is the recipe preparation follows:

  • 6 puri's made of maida or wheat flour
  • 2cups toned milk
  • 1cup sugar
  • 1tsp grated coconut
  • 1/4cup cashew nuts
  • 1tsp ghee
  • 1tsp khus-khus


  1. mix khus-khus,cashews,grated coconut with a cup of milk and soak it for half an hour.Then grind it to smooth paste.
  2. heat ghee in a pan add  the paste saute it until raw smell goes out.
  3. Add another cup of milk and sugar cook until it gets boiled.
  4. Place puri's on a pla folded in a row,pour the milk mixture on it garnish with cashew or kissmiss,serve it hot. or put in refreigerator for an hour and serve it cool.

    fried yoghurt

    Yoghurt contains good bacteria which is needed for the healthiest body. Yoghurt helps in digestion .
    It can be used as dessert,by adding water we can make buttermilk,it is also used in various cuisines to improve the taste.
    Now i am going to prepare a snack variety which is quick and easier one. Yo dont have to go out and shop needs for this. It can be made with the items which are regularly present in our kitchen.

    The preparation of fried yoghurt follows:


    • 2cups yoghurt
    • 2tsp besan flour
    • 2tsp plain flour or maida
    • 1tsp corn flour
    • salt to taste
    • baking soda pinch
    • oil for deep fry

    1. mix all ingrediants except oil and yoghurt in a mixing bowl.
    2. Add yoghurt to it and make it like thick batter.
    3. put oil for deep fry,when it gets heated pour in with hand on to oil with any shape.
    4. deep fry it. take it onto serving plate.
    5. fried yoghurt is ready to eat with mint or green chutney.
