dryfruits kheer with curl semilona

Kheer is sweet recipe which can be made in our home very easily. today, tried it with curl semilona. It tasted like heaven. so,i thought i have to defiletely share this recipe with all of you.

Ingrediants:

  • Curl semilona 1cup
  • milk 500ml
  • sugar 1 1/2cup
  • ghee 2tsp
  • cashew nuts 1small cup
  • badam 1small cup
  • kissmiss 1cup
Preparation:

  1. Take ghee into a pan and switch on the stove.Now add dry fruits one by one take into a plate.
  2. Add milk to this and boil it,when the boiling stage came add semilona.
  3. semilona get cooked very quickely ,now add sugar to it.
  4. stir it until sugar gets absorbed,add dry fruits to it
  5. stir for a minute.take into serving bowl.

ragi mudda

Ragi mudda is famous dish in south india specially in karnataka,andhra and Tamilnadu. Mostly rural people like this dish a lot.They would like to prepare it twice a week.

Ragi is rich source of calcium,iron,niacin,thiamin,riboflavin. It contains proteins, amino acids and minerals which are essential for human body. It is easy to digest. and contains very less fat. People who are on diet can make this recipe. It helps in strengthening bones,tissues.It can be taken as staple diet. Try to include this in your home menu and make your family healthy.

Ingrediants:
  • Ragi flour 50gms
  • rice 200gms
  • salt to taste
Preparation:
  1. take rice and wash it twice. cook it until rice becomes very soft.
  2. now add ragi flour ,salt to the rice stirring contunously to avoid lumps.
  3. make it fine smooth paste like shown in image.
  4. take this into a round bowl put it and pour on serving plate,ragi mudda is ready to eat.
  5. it can be taken with any dal or curry or chutney along with ghee.

majjiga pulusu

Majjiga pulusu is one dish which is used frequently in andhra recipes.I love any form of yoghurt.so,i definetely love this. Yoghurt itself contains many important factors needed for the body.

It contains vitamin D,riboflavin,vitamin B12,calcium,Yoghurt contains good bacteria which is needed for our body.Calcium place very important place in our body as it helps strengthening bones. People who are suffering from osteoporosis,can reduce the effect by including yoghurt in their daily menu. It is best to take a cup of yoghurt every day.It helps to improve the immune and digestive system.Yoghurt must be stocked in refrigerator since it is dairy product.We can also make yoghurt drincks or add in vegetables or salads or fruits. youghurt could not be heated,its nutrition facts will get reduced or disappear.

So my friends try to take atleast a cup of yoghurt everyday. Here is recipe preparation for majjiga pulusu.

Ingrediants:

  • Youghurt 1cup
  • mustard seeds 1/2tsp
  • cumin seeds 1/2tsp
  • 1small onion chopped nicely
  • 2 dry red chilli
  • garlic pods
  • curry leaves 6
  • pinch turmeric
  • salt to taste
  • 1tsp oil
Preparation:

  1. Take yoghurt into a bowl and whisk it nicely till no lumps are left.add salt to it.
  2. take tsp of oil in a pan add mustard,cumin,onion pieces,dry red chilli split,garlic pods,curry leaves,turmeric fry it well.
  3. add this to whisked youghurt.
  4. majjiga pulusu(yoghurt gravy) is ready to eat.
  5. it can be consumed directly or taken with rice.

cabbage pakora

Cabbage is one vegetable which helps a lot in our digestion system.,for your skin,eyes. It takes very important place in our health as it is rich in Vitamin A,B,B,iodine.Cabbage is also proved the effect of reducing cancer disease. It fights against the cancer radicals strongly and effectively.

Taking fresh cabbage juice often keeps our stomach away from ulcer as it contains sulfur. you can eat cabbage slices directly. So dont throw away the cabbage slices while eating which has put for garnishing. Becoz i have seen so many people who does not eat the garnishings. So next time when you are eating out dont forget to eat the garnishings.

Cabbage pakora is made easily try this in your home.


Ingrediants:

  • 1cup cabbage grated
  • 1cup besan flour
  • 1/2tsp red chilli powder
  • salt to taste
  • baking soda pinch
  • oil for deep fry
Preparation:

  1. mix besan flour ,red chilli powder,baking soda,salt with water and make it like bajji paste.
  2. now add cabbage to the paste sprinkle on the oil as we do for onion pakora.
  3. cabbage pakora is ready to eat.If you like,add grated coriander,curry leaves.
